The guilt tripping also happens when you refuse to come in on your day off. in addition when you do call in sick you get a lesson the on staffing problems, and made to feel guilty. You are highly discouraged from calling in sick, and when you do try to you have at outlandish times before your shift. No such thing as regular days off or sometimes having more than one day off if that. They tried to make one employ come in when his wife was in the hospital because it was on a holiday. They make it extremely hard to get off for family emergences. Once you show any interest in picking up extra hours you are expected to fill any shifts that need to be filled. Some of the patrol cars don't have fully function lightbars, spotlights, and other job essential equipment. Where it got bad was the company does not keep there equipment in good working order examples include web based systems that are not updated as needed such as ban list. My first 90 days with Signal 88 were amazing to the point I wanted to work 2 weeks straight, and I did it with no issue. My first impressions with the company were outstanding.98% of the people you work with are amazing. They change schedules on a moments notice and do not tell you before hand. Pay raise at 6 months then a year and then never again. The application says $14- 15 and they mean that. They play favorites for promotions and even promotions are a joke they don’t give pay raises hardly ever. If you have nothing going on and you only live to work then you’d excel in this company, but it won’t get you anywhere. Few off days and even on off days they will call you to come in. I have worked everything they have being there for so long and I can guarantee you the reason they don’t have enough guards because they work them to death. Most of the positions will either bore you to death or work you to death. If you have to call in for being sick you will get guilt tripped and most likely written up because they never have the staffing to cover you. Managers do not care about anything you have going on in your life. Hostile work environment in the Tulsa company.
